Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied supplements in sports nutrition, and research consistently shows it doesn't impair kidney function in people with normal kidney health, even with years of daily use. The confusion usually comes from creatinine, a natural byproduct of creatine metabolism that shows up on standard kidney panels. It's expected, not a sign of damage.
